Serves as a bridge and structural engineer responsible for planning, analysis, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects. Provides technical leadership for bridge, retaining wall, and related structural projects; coordinates multidisciplinary teams; supports business development efforts; and ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with applicable design standards and client requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
Perform and oversee bridge design, load rating, rehabilitation, widening, and replacement projects.Prepare and review engineering calculations, plans, specifications, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and technical reports.Ensure compliance with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, NDOT requirements, and applicable ACI, AISC, and building codes.Coordinate project schedules and budgets. Review and approve engineering work products for quality, accuracy, and constructability.Coordinate with clients, agencies, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams throughout project development and construction.Participate in project meetings, respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, and support construction engineering services.Structural Division

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil engineering is required. A Master's of Science degree in an appropriate engineering discipline is preferred. Minimum four (4) years of experience in bridge design.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
This position requires a Nevada Professional Engineer license, or capable of acquiring in six (6) months after hire. Valid driver’s license.
