Commercial Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing projects from pre-construction through closeout across a range of commercial sectors, including healthcare, office, hospitality, restaurant, and retail.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented manager with strong communication skills and a proven ability to coordinate complex commercial construction projects involving multiple trades and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from planning to completionCoordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractorsDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plansConduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safetyLead project meetings and issue timely updates and documentationIdentify and mitigate project risks, resolve conflicts, and manage changesEnsure compliance with all project specifications, codes, and safety standardsPrepare subcontracts, purchase materials, process invoices, and prepare client billingPreferred or Required Background and Education:
5+ years of experience in commercial construction project managementBackground in at least one or more sectors: healthcare, office, hospitality, retail, or restaurantBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent field experience)Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.Experience with construction platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, and BIM softwareMust have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable traveling to job sites in the region.About Gardner/Fox:

We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Project Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a construction professional with a strong background in high-end residential renovations and additions, including kitchens, bathrooms, whole-house renovations, and custom additions.
The successful candidate will manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with in-house design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and field staff to ensure quality results, on-time delivery, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage residential renovation and addition projects from design handoff through construction completion.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and material procurement plans.Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and field staff.Manage project documentation, change orders, billing, and closeout processes.Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, progress, and compliance with design documents and safety standards.Resolve field issues proactively and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project.Ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and client service are upheld on every job.Preferred or Required Background and Education:
5+ years of residential construction experience, including at least 2 years in a project management role.Experience managing high-end renovation and addition projects.Proficiency in reading architectural drawings and construction specifications.Strong organizational, scheduling, budgeting, and communication skills.Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word required.Experience with construction management software such as Procore is a plus.Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.About Gardner/Fox:

We are currently looking for an experienced commercial construction cost estimator to join our team. The individual would be involved in soliciting subcontractors and vendors for project bids, conducting subcontractor walkthroughs, and de-scoping subcontractor and vendor proposals. Additionally, the individual would be required to do plan take-offs utilizing Bluebeam and BIM software and import take-off information into Excel spreadsheets.
Preferred or Required Background and Education:
5+ years prior experience.Educational background and/or work experience in commercial construction.
