You will manage both prelitigation and litigation matters from start to finish. Responsibilities
Manage cases from prelitigation through litigation.Open and close case files- medical records, police reports, insurance verifications, etc.Prepare for depositions, mediations and trial and assist in all drafting all legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and more.Coordinate and summarize depositions.Communicate with clients, other law offices, insurance adjusters, medical offices and more.Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses.Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes.Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices.Manage calendaring for attorney and clients.Draft and serve summons.Conduct legal research as needed.Prepare the disbursement of settlement funds.Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance.Maintain all case notes and updates in our case management system.Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.Qualifications
