    Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI) GFT is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI) to join our Construction Services Team in Philadelphia! This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI) who thrives in a collaborative team environment. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Perform inspection to assure that contractors build a quality construction project. Perform assigned duties to specific activities to assure plans, specifications, standards and Q.C. Plans are adhered to. Comply with the District and project specific overtime requirements. Meet with the Department Project Engineer/Manager/Supervisor or Consultant Manager/Supervisor daily, or as required, to receive instructions and assignments. Complete PSA's and work sheets daily. Request from Manager/Supervisor assistance for any instruction or assignment in the inspection of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with contract requirements and established standards. Participates in daily huddles with field staff. Education | Experience: What you will bring to our firm: Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or closely related field or At least one (1) year minimum experience as a Technical Assistant 2. Also considered, two (2) years of transportation construction inspection experience and a High School Diploma or Four (4) years of highway/building trades, construction, inspection, or design experience and a High School Diploma will be considered or ACI, NICET, and/or NECEPT certifications. Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to read and interpret plans and specifications, measure and calculate quantities, and perform quality control testing on highway materials will be considered. Associate Degree in Engineering may be substituted for one (1) year of experience. Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members. What You Will Bring To Our Firm: Active Washington State EL01 Journeyman Electrician License Minimum 5+ years of experience as a journey-level electrician Experience with public, commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities preferred Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E safety practices Ability to interpret electrical plans, one-lines, and panel schedules Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report preparation Valid driver's license and clean driving record Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000.
