Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Logistics Coordinator to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material flow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring materials are accurately received, organized, staged, and delivered to production teams while maintaining strong communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments.
Key ResponsibilitiesVerify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, and supplier documentation.Inspect and validate received materials for quantity and accuracy.Resolve receiving discrepancies with Purchasing and Supply Chain teams.Coordinate LTL freight and small parcel shipments (FedEx, UPS, etc.).Adhere to customer-specific shipping, routing, and packaging requirements.Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow throughout the facility.Coordinate quality inspections with Engineering and Build teams on incoming materials.Communicate shipment status, tracking information, delays, claims, and exceptions to stakeholders.Process purchasing, receiving, and accounting documentation accurately.Support supplier return (RMA) processes for credits and replacements.Organize and maintain material storage areas throughout the facility.Deliver and stage materials at point-of-use locations to support production.Perform material check-in processes and maintain inventory accuracy.Safely load and unload machinery, equipment, and materials from trucks and trailers.Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, material management, supply chain, or manufacturing environments preferred.Experience coordinating shipments and inventory in an industrial setting.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and within a team environment.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Forklift experience required or willingness to obtain certification.Ability to obtain Overhead Crane certification.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and perform physical material handling duties.Required SkillsForklift OperationMicrosoft Office ApplicationsAttention to DetailMaterial HandlingShipping & ReceivingSafety AwarenessSelf-MotivatedAbility to Follow DirectionsTeam-Oriented MindsetAbility to Bend, Lift, and Perform Physical TasksPreferred SkillsEpicor Kinetic ERP ExperienceLogistics & Supply Chain ManagementManufacturing or Automation Industry ExperienceThis is an excellent opportunity for a logistics professional looking to join a growing manufacturing organization and play a key role in supporting production operations and material flow.
