Position Summary:
Responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and testing of communications equipment supporting SCADA and wireless networks for our West Texas region/area.
Detail Responsibilities:
Perform Installations, inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of communications and wireless network equipment for reliable collection And transfer of measurement and real-time related data to the customer polling systems RF and low voltage electrical work that involves transmitters, RTU/EFM, radios, antenna systems Tower infrastructure and other wireless communication devicesThese basic responsibilities related to wireless communications and telemetry will be supported with standardized processes and proceduresPosition Requirements:

What you’ll be doing
As a member of our Field Servicer Operation, your teammates will rely on you to work safely, efficiently and make the goals of the team your top priority. It’s a role with a lot of variety, but very fulfilling. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be performing various tasks such as:
Working safely and within established quality guidelines, without deviation. Completing repairs and upgrades at elevated heights.Installing impacted equipment that’s mounted on various structures such as Guyed Towers, Lattice Towers, Monopole Towers, Water Towers, Stealth Towers and RooftopsObserving and reporting possible compound/equipment defects or hazards; following instructions and complete assigned course of action in accordance with scope of work and methods of procedures (MOPs) and track work via checklistsExpanding and upgrading established major cellular carrier networks; civil work will consist of upgrading and expanding existing cellular networks / sitesSwapping cellular radios and antennas, making legacy cable plant upgrades from coaxial cable to fiber, site upgrades and capacity expansion; serve as a rescue climber when needed

Tower Support Technician (ST3) will work as part of a four-person construction crew or a two-person maintenance team. ST3 will be assigned to a crew/team and deploy for 6-8 week rotations depending on workload.
Construction tasks include:
Installing cellular and microwave antenna systems at elevated heights.Terminating, testing, and routing fiber, coaxial, data, and power cables.Aligning and optimization of antennas.Removing end of life equipment from vertical assets.Maintenance tasks include:
Troubleshooting communications systems.Testing and repairing or replacing fiber, coaxial, data and power cables.Replacing communication system components.Preventive maintenance of existing communication systems.Site surveys and inspections.Qualifications:
Availability to travel nationwide 100%.Availability to work outside normal business hours (i.e., shift work), to include nights and weekends, as needed.Must be punctual and reliable.Possess a valid and current driver’s license and be approved to operate a company vehicle.Successfully complete a pre-employment, post-offer drug test and adhere to Future Technologies and customer substance use prevention policies.Successfully complete a pre-employment, post offer background check, including criminal history check, employment history check, and education verification, among other things.
