    Position Summary:

    Fusion is seeking a Policy and Intergovernmental Coordination Analyst to support research, writing, coordination, and publication of continuity-related plans, procedures, and national-level coordination products. This role combines policy development, executive secretariat support, interagency coordination, and document management in a highly secure environment.


    Key Responsibilities

    Support development, review, coordination, distribution, and publication of continuity plans, annexes, battle books, field guides, and related derivative documents.Provide input and rewrites for concepts of operations, plans, procedures, checklists, references, and other mission documentation.Coordinate document reviews with mission partners, consolidate feedback, and recommend revisions for senior consideration.Develop information papers, decision briefings, meeting agendas, talking points, minutes, issue papers, notifications, and dissemination packages for interagency and interbranch activities.Maintain distribution accountability and document control for sensitive policy and planning products.Support upkeep of accountability trackers and reference materials associated with high-priority policy products.May perform additional mission-aligned duties as required to support program objectives.

    Required Experience & Education

    Bachelors degree in public policy, national security, international affairs, emergency management, or a related field preferred.Minimum 4 years of experience in national security, defense, continuity, emergency preparedness, public policy, or readiness programs.Strong experience in policy writing, technical editing, interagency coordination, and executive-level briefing support.Demonstrated ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups and manage sensitive review cycles in classified settings.Excellent writing, formatting, and document control skills.


    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience supporting formal boards, councils, working groups, or executive secretariat functions.Background in continuity planning, national-level policy review, or emergency action documentation.


    Security Clearance Requirements

    Candidates must have an active TS to be considered.Must be able to obtain and maintain SCI access and SAP eligibility/indoctrination as required for assigned duties.


    Work Conditions & Physical Requirements

    Work is primarily performed onsite in secure government facilities in the National Capital Region.Work schedules may include coverage between 0500 and 2000 Monday through Friday, with evening, weekend, and holiday support as mission requirements dictate.Short-notice travel within and outside the continental United States may be required based on operational needs.Employees must comply with installation access, badging, operational security, and classified material handling requirements at all times.Requires sustained attention to detail, version control, and coordination discipline across sensitive publications.This position supports a high-visibility federal mission and is expected to remain fully compliant with customer security, access, and performance requirements.Applicants should be prepared to provide evidence of active clearance status and relevant experience supporting government or defense organizations.
