    EHS Coordinator - Make a Real Impact in Safety at Fuji!

    Summary: Fuji Vegetable Oil is looking for an EHS Coordinator to support our environmental, health, and safety department in ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and overall workplace safety. This role is crucial for monitoring our safety systems, managing fire alarms, and troubleshooting any safety concerns that may arise.     Key Responsibilities:

    Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities:

    Assist in the implementation of effective Safety & Health programs, ensuring that we meet all relevant regulatory requirements.Monitor and evaluate subcontractors’ EHS performance to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.Support safety and health inspections, correcting unsafe acts and conditions.Assist with emergency action plans and fire drills to keep our team prepared.Manage and monitor the fire alarm system, coordinating efforts with vendors, troubleshooting alarms, and ensuring proper system function.Maintaining documentation for regulatory compliance.

    Safety & Risk Management:

    Provide technical support in identifying and managing occupational safety and health hazards.Perform safety shower/eye wash and fire extinguisher inspections to ensure everything is working correctly.Monitoring hot work permits and confined space entry permit to maintain a safe working environment.Assist in implementing Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) standards and ensure all procedures are followed.

    Training & Education:

    Assist or conduct safety training sessions as directed by the EHS Manager.Have successfully completed and is current in the 10-30 hours in General Industry and the 511- Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry OR the 501 (OSHA) Outreach Training Program OR 503 (OSHA) Outreach Training Program.Must have knowledge of the NFPA Life Safety 101. Provide hands-on training on forklift operation, mobile elevated work platforms (MEWP), and backhoe operations to keep our team skilled and safe.Computer Proficient. Ability to use MS Office products including Outlook and Teams.

    Communication & Reporting:

    Investigate and report incidents, preparing detailed incident reports to prevent future accidents.Work with production team leaders to identify potential hazards and develop plans to mitigate them.Recommend changes in policies and procedures to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.

    Miscellaneous Responsibilities:

    Perform other tasks as assigned by the EHS Manager.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    High school diploma (GED) and at least 3 years of experience working in EHS roles in general industry manufacturing operations.Must have previous experience or training in manufacturing process systems, fire protection systems to include fire alarm management and troubleshooting.Demonstrated experience and/or training in safety programs like Hazard Communication, Confined Space and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO), Oil Spill prevention techniques and Root Cause Analysis is essential.Ability to acquire certifications such as AED, CPR, and First Aid.

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    The physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, balancing, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.Work environment includes exposure to mechanical parts, toxic chemicals, extreme temperatures, and noise levels that can vary.

    Position Overview

    The R&D Scientist plays a critical role at the intersection of research, production, and customer application. This position partners closely with Operations, Quality, and Commercial teams to advance product innovation, optimize processes, and solve complex technical challenges.

    You will lead and execute lab-scale processing and experimentation, translate findings into plant-level improvements, and contribute to the development of next-generation oil-based solutions.

    Qualifications

    Position Summary

    The Water Treatment Operator is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Water Treatment Plant. This role includes monitoring system performance, collecting and analyzing water and wastewater samples, maintaining accurate operational records, and ensuring compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.

    Operate water and wastewater treatment facilities to control flow and processing

    Monitor equipment, gauges, meters, and charts to ensure proper plant operation

    Diagnose operating issues and take corrective action during assigned shifts

    Collect, test, and analyze water and wastewater samples in accordance with regulatory requirements

    Chart laboratory results, identify trends, and maintain accurate QA/QC records

    Interpret test results and operational data to determine process adjustments

    Read and record meters, gauges, and test results

    Operate valves, gates, pumps, engines, and generators (manually or remotely)

    Start and stop equipment to control treatment processes and system flow

    Observe operating conditions and respond appropriately to system variations

    Prepare reports and documentation as required

    Maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with team members and internal stakeholders

    Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned

    Education

    High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

    Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Prior experience in water or wastewater treatment operations preferred

    Experience operating laboratory equipment, pumps, generators, gauges, and related tools preferred

    Ability to perform control and process calculations

    Strong attention to detail, recordkeeping, and documentation skills

    Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
