    State Fire is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team in Reno, Nevada. We offer consistent, year-round work, a take-home vehicle, paid NICET training, real PTO, and the kind of flexibility and direct access to leadership that larger or union shops can't match.

    What You'll Do Conduct inspections of fire sprinkler systems per NFPA and local codes
    Inspect heads, valves, alarms, and piping for damage, wear, or issues
    Test water flow, pressure, alarms, and other system functions
    Perform maintenance tasks and minor repairs
    Maintain clear, accurate documentation
    Travel regionally (some overnights required) Requirements: What You Bring 3+ years in fire sprinkler or life safety trades
    Nevada Fire Sprinkler license (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
    Valid AWWA or ABPA backflow certification
    High school diploma or equivalent
    Familiarity with fire/building codes and OSHA (MSHA preferred)
    Basic computer/software proficiency
    Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
    Ability to pass a national background check and drug screening
    Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and lifting 70 lbs

    State Fire is seeking an experienced, licensed Fire Alarm Technician/Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in the Austin, TX region. As a regional leader in fire protection, we specialize in the installation, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, alarm monitoring, special hazard suppression systems, fire sprinklers, security systems, and more.

    What You'll Do Install, inspect, service, and maintain a variety of fire alarm systems.
    Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair systems as needed, including emergency or warranty calls.
    Perform scheduled maintenance and testing in accordance with NFPA and local standards.
    Coordinate work efficiently with project managers, property managers, and subcontractors.
    Maintain accurate documentation and follow all job site safety and compliance protocols.

    NICET Level I or higher certification preferred.
    Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
    Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    Must hold or be able to obtain any required state licensure within 90 days.
    Proficiency with standard and trade-specific tools and testing equipment.
    Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
    Comfortable working at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
    Safely lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
