Position Overview:
Friends School of Baltimore seeks a full-time Advancement Services Associate to provide administrative and operational support for the Advancement Office. This 12-month, full-time hourly position is primarily responsible for gift processing, database management, donor acknowledgments, and maintaining the integrity of constituent records in support of annual giving, major gifts, and other fundraising initiatives.
Working closely with the Advancement and Business Offices, the Advancement Services Associate ensures accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of philanthropic revenue while supporting stewardship efforts and key Advancement events. Responsibilities:
The duties of these positions include, but are not limited to:
Gift Processing and Database Management:
Process and record gifts accurately and in a timely manner, including checks, online gifts, stock gifts, matching gifts, and other philanthropic transactions. Review gift documentation and research donor intent and gift allocations.Maintain constituent and gift records in Raiser's Edge and ensure the integrity and accuracy of database information.Run validation reports and process gift adjustments as needed.Produce, archive, and track donor acknowledgment letters and stewardship communications.Assist with direct mail operations and other donor communication projects.Financial Reconciliation and Reporting:
Partner with the Business Office to reconcile gifts, deposits, and monthly revenue reports.Review and reconcile online gifts, checks, receipts, and stock gifts.Prepare monthly gift reports and assist with month-end closing processes.Support gift proofing and auditing efforts to ensure accuracy between Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge.Prepare weekly reports summarizing gifts entered, total philanthropic revenue received, and donor acknowledgments mailed.Stewardship and Advancement Operations:
Support annual giving, reunion giving, and other fundraising initiatives through gift administration and donor stewardship activities.Provide administrative support across the Advancement Office.Coordinate tribute mailings, acknowledgment processes, and related stewardship activitiesEvents and Constituent Engagement:
Provide logistical support for key Advancement events, including major donor receptions, Board meetings, Alumni Weekend, and the 100 Nights Dinner.Assist with event registration, attendance tracking, payment processing, deposits, and reporting. Context and Philosophy:
Friends School of Baltimore is seeking a Program Coordinator/ Head Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach for the Fall of 2026. This position reports regularly to the Director of Athletics, and is a paid, part-time seasonal position. The Soccer season begins August 17th and concludes early November 2026. Practices are typically 2 hours a day M-F in the afternoons. Friends School currently competes in the IAAM "C" Conference. The Program Coordinator is expected to have a role in the program throughout the school year with off-season practices. The IAAM currently permits up to 3 hours a week out of season. The PC is meant to support and guide the girls volleyball program at Friends.
Responsibilities:
Plan and attend all practices and games.Communicate with parents and students effectively.Write post-game summaries to be used by the SID and marketing department in community-wide communications.Train, supervise, and evaluate student managers.Drive school vehicles (mini-buses) to and from away contests, scrimmages and tournaments.Attend meetings with the Athletic Department, the volleyball coaching staff, and the Director of Athletics.Serve as the school's representatives at all IAAM Conference volleyball preseason and postseason meetings.Organize and maintain all related equipment and uniforms for the program.Oversee the program and provide leadership and vision for all teams including the Junior Varsity program.Attend and participate in end of season FSAA ceremonies, Senior Day celebrations, and awards assemblies.Work collaboratively with the Admissions Office and the Office of College Counseling in support of our student athletes.Program Coordinators will also serve as the school's representatives at all IAAM and MIAA Conference preseason and postseason meetings and work collaboratively with the Admissions Office and the Office of College Counseling in support of our student athletes.

Position Overview
Little Friends child care program, located on the campus of Friends School of Baltimore, has an opening for a substitute teacher. If you are a professional, enthusiastic, passionate, nurturing, caring, and kind individual, this is the place for you. We are looking for individuals who can provide quality care for children ages 6 weeks to 4 years of age, all while making education fun and creative.
Primary Responsibilities
Substitute for and assist Co-Teacher with all aspects of daily classroom activities, including age-appropriate curriculum planning, health, and safety, actively supervise children at all times, and open communication with a team of teachers and with families.Encourages children's emotional, social, and physical development and positive self-concept. Create a nurturing, enriching, age-appropriate learning environment for the classroom.Work collaboratively with the teaching team, administrators, and specialists.Assist with observing and documenting the children's progress and development.Learn, understand, and embrace the Quaker aspect of the school and use it daily through Morning Meetings, curriculum, classroom management, and all parent/child/employee interactions.Greet the parents and build rapport; communicate with them about their child's day daily.Participate in staff meetings, professional development days, and teacher training.Cleans and sanitizes toys, furniture, and play equipment.Adhere to all school rules and policies.Maintain a neat and professional image at all times.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent communication skills with parents, teachers, and other childcare workers.Ability to be patient and understanding when working with children and interacting withparents.
Knowledge of childcare principles and procedures.Ability to relate to children and make the childcare facility an enjoyable atmosphere.Knowledge of early childhood teaching strategiesRequired Licensing/Certifications

Position Overview:
Friends School of Baltimore is seeking coaches for the 2025-2026 school year. This position reports regularly to the Director of Athletics, and is a paid, part-time seasonal position. The Seasons are 10-12 weeks long. Practices are typically from 3:15-4:30 for Middle School and 3:45-5:45 for Upper School. Friends School competes in the IAAM and MIAA Conferences.

Plan and attend all practices and games.Communicate with parents and students effectively.Write post-game summaries to be used by the SID and marketing department in community-wide communications.Train, supervise, and evaluate student managers.Drive school vehicles (mini-buses) to and from away contests, scrimmages and tournaments.Attend meetings with the Athletic Department, the coaching staff, and the Director of Athletics.Organize and maintain all related equipment and uniforms for the program.Attend and participate in end of season FSAA ceremonies, Senior Day celebrations, and awards assemblies.Head Varsity Coaches/ Program Coordinators will also serve as the school's representatives at all IAAM and MIAA Conference preseason and postseason meetings and work collaboratively with the Admissions Office and the Office of College Counseling in support of our student athletes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should have at least one year of coaching experience or collegiate playing experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Outstanding communication and organizational skills are required. Knowledge of sport rules and regulations are also required. Coaching experience preferred.
