    Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Plainview, Texas is a 20 bed, acute geriatric psych facility located in Plainview, Texas. We are looking for an experienced Service Development Representative. Previous psychiatric experience in an acute setting is a must. Strong preference given to previous geriatric psych experience. Teamwork, team development and team training are all key qualities for this position.

    The Service Development Representative develops referral relationships with resources in the community and acts as a conduit for information between the facility and the resources making each aware of how their services may compliment and meet the clients needs. Collaborates with the Service Development Director, staff and community to identify specific areas of educational needs. An annual educational calendar is developed and then implemented to enhance community understanding of mental health issues and/or develop/improve staff skill levels. As Service Development Representative, case management functions within the community are undertaken. The function acts as a liaison between providers and referral sources to ensure the smooth transition of services from different levels of clinical intensity.


    PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


    Identify and develop potential referral sources.Increase referral sources.Assist hospital with maximizing the census through effective marketing.Generate public relations and marketing opportunities.Receive incoming inquiries and referrals from hospitals, community agencies, and families.Arrange for medical information to be received, both initial nursing report and required written paperwork.Without the Admissions/Marketing Coordinator, speak and/or meet with families about specifics of admission requirements and placement procedures.Contact area hospitals, community agencies and groups to promote and maintain good working relationships.Arrange and coordinate visits from area hospitals and agency staff.Competent with working on devices for daily and weekly reporting to gather data important to growth of your regions and services.


    Education:


    Prefer a license as a Social Work (preferably LCSW, LMSW, LPC or LPC (I))Preference also as a Registered Nurse


    Experience:


    A minimum of two (2) years experience in Sales, Development or Admission Setting in healthcare and/or medical industry is requiredProven experience in marketing/sales/customer service and or a clinical educator.Accustom using mobile tools and applicationsAcquired ability to observe goals as minimum standards and always strives to exceed minimum standardsProficient knowledge of tablets and smart phonesDependable Transportation and daily travel is a must for this position



    Compensation is outstanding with a stipend for gas, etc. as well car allowance.

    Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Plainview is currently accepting resumes for a Recreational Therapist!


    This non-exempt, full-time position will report to the Director of Clinical Social Services and will provide medically-approved activities for the patients within the facility. Activities may include leisure skills, social activities, physical/exercise, cognitive challenges and arts and crafts. The Activities Coordinator provides support to the clinical department through teamwork and input into the patient's overall psychosocial needs.


    A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. A minimum of one year experience performing similar duties in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred. Qualified applicants will also hold certification through an approved program designed to train the components of Activity Therapy duties.


    Qualified applicants also have a basic understanding of DSM V diagnostic criteria and a basic understanding of medical and psychiatric diagnoses and conditions.

    Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Plainview, Texas is a 20-bed, acute geriatric psych facility located in Plainview, Texas. We are looking for an experienced Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to step into the Director position and guide our program for our patients. This position will be part of the Clinical Services Team.


    The hours would 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.


    The Clinical Director is responsible for supervision of the social services necessary to meet the legal, organizational, medical staff and regulatory agency guidelines. Supervises therapy services, case management, education and discharge planning. Provides guidance and supervision of other social workers, therapists and interns. All duties to be done in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations, Allegiance and Freedom policies and procedures and Performance Improvement Standards.

    Essential Functions :
    Provides clinical supervision of other social workers, therapists and interns.
    Provides clinical supervision of individual, group and family session for patients as indicated in the supervisor notes.
    Participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team and participates in chart reviews for quality assurance.
    Meets weekly or as required by state regulations with clinical staff to meet licensure or certification requirements as evidenced in supervisor notes.
    Supervises the clinical department including the following functions: discharge and after care planning, completion of discharge summaries, completion of clinical documentation and providing guidance to the clinical staff.
    Review psycho-social documentation, completion of outcome studies assessments and development of clinical notes.
    Establishes and maintains a supportive/directive leadership style to foster a positive organizational culture making self available to staff and possible providing LCSW supervision.
    Provides Clinical Social Work services; including group, individual and family services including communication in an age/disability/cultural sensitive milieu.
    Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

    Educational/Experience Requirements:
    Must be a (1)LMSW or LCSW in the State of Texas; (2) or Must possess one of the following:

    - Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work and prefer at least three years of full time experience in psych

    Qualifications/Skills:
    Excellent assertive communication skills.
    A sound leader who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster cooperation across departmental lines and manage information, environmental and fiscal resources to accomplish goals.
    Good writing and composition skills. Able to organize and prioritize high volume workload.
    Able to function with minimal supervision.
    Therapeutic Intervention/De-escalation education required.
    Ability to maintain overall good work attitude and interact cooperatively and professionally with other staff members.
    Basic competency in age/disability/cultural diversity needs of patients served and ability to relate to patients in a manner sensitive to those needs.
    Must be able to work under close supervision.
    Must successfully complete CPR certification as well attend our approved behavioral de-escalation program.

    This position will consist of chart documentation, treatment planning, performing psycho-social assessments, and patient groups.
