    Position Summary

    The Project Engineer supports the successful planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role works closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Please note, each project is unique and the respective duties and responsibilities can vary depending on the size, scope, and project needs.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Project Coordination

    Assist in managing day-to-day project activities from preconstruction through closeoutCoordinate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIsMaintain accurate project records and logs
    Support project scheduling and monitor progress against timelines

    Document Control & Communication

    Review and process submittals for compliance with project plans and specificationsPrepare and track Requests for Information (RFIs)Attend all project meetings, create and distribute meeting minutesDistribute updated drawings and project documents to relevant team membersAssist Superintendent with photo documentation and creation of daily logsServe as a liaison between project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors

    Cost & Budget Support

    Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and forecastingSupport change order preparation and documentationReview and track subcontractor pay applications

    Quality & Compliance

    Help ensure all work complies with contract documents, building codes, and company standardsConduct site visits and participate in inspectionsAssist with punch list development and project closeout documentation

    Safety

    Promote adherence to company and OSHA safety standardsParticipate in safety meetings and help ensure site safety complianceAssist in safety inspections and track deficiencies.

    Work Schedule:
