    Job DescriptionJob Description

    The primary focus of the General Laborer is to assist all self-perform construction disciplines in completing scheduled work. General duties will include general housekeeping of the site and work areas, stocking of materials and deliveries, selective demolition, equipment maintenance and overall self-perform trade support. This position is expected to work in White Oak, PA and will be an employee of the Pittsburgh, PA office location. Must have own transportation to and from work and valid driver's license.

    What you'll do:

    General housekeeping and maintenance of overall site cleanliness.General support of the self-performing trades i.e., stock materials and equipment, assist in installations, clean-up etc.Safely load and unload building material deliveries.Verify delivery quantities.Stock deliveries to designated construction areas as required.Have working knowledge of general construction activities and construction sequencing to properly assist self-perform trades.Have working knowledge of construction and construction sequencing to safely and effectively perform selective demolition work.Safely install, maintain, and dismantle all site logistical items including but not limited to site fencing, site office area, tool trailer storage areas, material lay-down areas and pedestrian barricades and signage.Safely erect, maintain, and dismantle scaffolding systems for daily construction activities.Respond in an expeditious and timely manner to all work requests regarding general laborer activities.Additional tasks as necessary and/or assigned.

    What you'll do:

    Collaborate with the Warranty Manager to prioritize and schedule warranty and punch list work on multiple projects.Inspect completed work and identify necessary repairs or adjustments to meet quality standards.Perform carpentry repairs, adjustments, replacements, and touch-ups on projects under warranty.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while onsite.Communicate clearly with project teams, clients, suppliers, subcontractors and homeowners/tenants warranty concerns and status updates.Maintain accurate records of completed work, including photo and video, and submit required documentation and media to the Warranty Manager.Ensure all work complies with the specific projects approved plans, safety regulations, building codes, and company quality standards.Operate tools, equipment, and company vehicles responsibly.Collaborate with management and project teams to identify recurring issues and recommend preventative solutions.Assume additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by Franjo Management.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    Proven experience as a Carpenter, with knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction and the tools, materials, and methods used.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.Good communication skills and customer service orientation.Ability to identify and troubleshoot warranty and punch list items effectively.Valid State Driver's License with reliable transportation.High School Diploma or equivalent.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Experience in warranty or post-construction service work.Familiarity with construction administration processes.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Customer service experience in a construction or trades environment.Trade School Certification's'Procore' Construction Management Software Certification's OSHA 10Aeriel Lift Certification

    What you'll do:

    Ability to operate all types of woodworking equipment and hand tools.Hang drywall and metal studs as required and perform light finishing of GWB assemblies.Have knowledge of all GWB assemblies for code compliant installations.Construct interior building partitions under the direction of the carpenter foreman and/or superintendent.Perform window, door/hardware installations and minor roof repairs.Perform demolition work on project site.Safely erect scaffolding systems for daily construction activities.Perform finish carpentry work, i.e., molding, trim work, casework etc.Install ACT grid, tile, and associated trims.Maintain production quantities as outlined by the project schedule.Respond in an expeditious and timely manner to all work requests regarding carpentry expertise.Assist in loading and unloading building material.Provide input on jobsite logistics, organization, layout, equipment, and manpower utilization.Clean project site and maintain order with all tools and equipment.Operate equipment such as man-lifts, scissor lifts safely and as needed to perform daily activities.Have knowledge of foundations of structures for concrete pours.Construct and form grade beams, slab on grade, columns and panels, edge forms for concrete pours.Mold, shape or form wood or plastic forms to pour concrete.Perform clean-up procedures.Adhere to comprehensive project safety and security programs as defined in the company safety program in accordance with all applicable safety codes and regulations.Meet with the Safety Director and complete mandatory safety training prior to start of employment.Additional tasks as necessary and/or assigned.

    Results driven.Strong project and time management skills.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
