    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    ▪ Interface with all departments responsible to assure that products, plant operations and facility are

    in compliance with FWF, consumers, customers, and regulatory agencies standards.

    ▪ Responsible for all segments of the QA functions

    ▪ Lead, supervise, and fully execute all programs, procedures, practices, activities, etc.

    ▪ Develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses, identifying critical control

    points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective

    actions, and verification procedures.

    ▪ Develop and continuously improve plant procedures ensuring conformance to specifications for

    incoming materials and finished products.

    ▪ Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.

    ▪ Recommend and implement corrective and preventive measures to improve plant sanitation,

    employee hygienic practices, and product safety and quality standards.

    ▪ Maintain and improve quality control procedures.

    ▪ Lead and supervise undertaking of pre-operational plant inspection and others checks to ensure

    food safety.

    ▪ Provide communication regarding food safety and quality related issues to management.

    ▪ Lead the Pest Control Company for pest and rodent control service.

    ▪ Participate in 3rd party audits and provide documented corrective actions and results.

    ▪ Review and supervise the execution of QC Inspectors and other staff.

    ▪ Provide training and support to QA team

    ▪ Improve reliability of new product development process.

    ▪ Actively participate in production meetings with manufacturing team,

    ▪ Review current standards and policies

    ▪ Other duties and tasks as required


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    ▪ Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role

    ▪ College degree in Food Science, or related field.

    ▪ Food Industry certifications

    ▪ Able to develop protocols in English and Spanish

    ▪ Ability to train personnel and to speak effectively before groups employees of organization.

    ▪ Knowledge of food process, quality assurance activities and microbiology.

    ▪ Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office applications) and computer-based applications.

    ▪ Support, lead and conduct shelf-life testing for new and existing products

    ▪ Good organizational, strong record keeping and people skills

    ▪ Analytical logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail



    In the absence of the QA manager; the substitute will be the President, Operations Manager, and/or QA Assistant/Technician.

     The Human Resources Recruiter / Assistant is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates. This role partners with hiring managers to meet staffing needs and ensure the organization hires and retains high-quality talent efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities 

    Screen, recruit, and interview candidates for a food manufacturing company  Develop and post job descriptions on job boards, career sites, and social media  Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings  Coordinate and support new hire onboarding and training  Promote and reinforce company culture, values, and policies  Prepare and provide reports and documentation to management  Coordinate employee recognition and engagement events  Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files

    Qualifications 

    Previous experience in human resources, recruiting, or related field  High school diploma or equivalent required  Strong written and verbal communication skills  Proven ability to recruit and evaluate candidates  Knowledge of employment laws and hiring practices

    Summary:

    Receives, counts and bags final product per set directions from Production Line Supervisor. Ensures that product meets quality specifications in size and weight before bagging and sealing.

     

    Essential Functions:

    · Receives product at end of line.

    · Ensures that product meets the product specifications.

    · Weighs and counts product to ensure it meets bag specifications.

    · Alerts Line or Plant Supervisor immediately after noticing any abnormalities that interfere with the quality or specifications of finish product.

    · Bags and packages finished product per supervisor instructions.

    · Maintains Packing area as clean as possible.

    · Works directly with Line Supervisor to ensure proper stock of bags and packing materials are always available.

    · Adheres to Company Safety Standards at all times.

     

    Physical Demands:

    · Frequent bending, turning and lifting.

    · Ability to lift unassisted 30 - 40 lbs at a time

    · Working standing and/or sitting for 1-2 hours on rotation.

    · Ability to move hands in a rapid and repetitive manner as to keep up with the speed of the machine and avoid packaging delays.

    · Working in a warm environment with flour dust.

    · Working in a loud production environment.

    · Occasionally working extended shifts.
