Job Title: The Leasing Consultant is the community's sales representative, responsible for interacting with residents (potential and existing) on behalf of FPI.
This role involves assisting with viewing/touring the property, providing accurate information about each apartment home, processing rental applications, securing lease agreements from qualified persons, and assisting with lease renewals as required.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in daily operations to ensure FPI meets Client objectives and expectations.
Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests while representing FPI.
Maintain occupancy levels as established by owner/budget expectations and exhibit professional leasing techniques.
Assist with advertising and marketing strategies for the apartment community as needed and promote positive resident/management relations to retain desirable residents.
Ensure the safety, comfort, and privacy of all property residents and conduct move-in orientation consistently with new residents.
Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within Residential Property Management or related fields.
High School diploma or equivalency certificate required and proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
Valid Driver's License, good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance meeting State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet, social media).
