    Position Overview

    Four Star Mechanical is looking for a dedicated Account Manager to focus on building and maintaining relationships with commercial, industrial, and residential clients. This position bridges sales, customer service, and technical support to drive revenue growth, ensure client satisfaction, and promote HVAC products, services, or solutions

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    Brand Representation

    Represent the company professionally in all client, vendor, and industry interactions.Act as a trusted advisor to clients by demonstrating industry knowledge and company values.

    Customer Relationship Management

    Develop and maintain strong relationships with preventive maintenance clients to drive satisfaction, retention, and referrals.Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring consistent and proactive communication.Resolve client concerns quickly and professionally to maintain trust and satisfaction.

    Customer Retention & Satisfaction

    Maintain a preventive maintenance contract renewal rate of 90% or higher.Reduce churn by addressing issues early and delivering consistent value through services.Develop and implement a customer satisfaction tool to regularly monitor and improve client experience.

    Internal Collaboration

    Work closely with service managers, estimators, and technicians to deliver on customer expectations.Participate in training and mentorship of junior sales staff or new account managers as needed.Align with project and service teams on scheduling, resource planning, and capacity management.

    Operational Execution

    Ensure all preventive maintenance work sold is executable, profitable, and aligned with available operational resources.Support seamless handoffs between sales and operations teams.Monitor and manage service delivery timelines and quality standards.Develop and consistently optimize contract potential and ongoing management processes

    Revenue Growth

    Meet or exceed annual sales targets for:Preventive maintenance agreementsSmall retrofit projectsSystem replacements or upgradesIdentify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.

    Qualifications

    4+ years (or more) of HVAC/R industry experienceStrong Written and Verbal Communication skills (Outlook)Highly motivated and detail orientedA proven track record of sales and selling skills experienceValid Driver's license/driving recordHigh School diploma or equivalent required.

    Four Star Mechanical is looking to hire several HVAC Installers. Experienced candidates and apprentices with no experience at all will be considered. We are a family-owned company that values and appreciates our employees while offering many opportunities for advancement. We are looking for Foreman, Journeymen, Apprentices and those who are interested in starting a career in the Commercial HVAC Industry.

    Summary:

    Install HVAC systems and all other related HVAC components correctly and in a timely manner, while also helping facilitate customer satisfaction and workplace safety. All HVAC technicians are expected to work under close supervision within a team-oriented environment and with a minimal amount of creative design, depending on work experience and proven competencies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Install HVAC systems for commercial constructionCutting and threading pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machinesInstallation of sheet metal duct and HVAC equipmentSet/mount equipment, rough-in and trim duct systems, experience installing duct systems is preferredLayout and connect electrical wiring between the controls and equipment according to the wiring diagramEnsure customer satisfactionOther duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    Minimum High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; EPA certification a plusPossess effective verbal and written communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and customer service skillsMust have an honest and dependable personalityStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to distinguish between various HVAC equipmentSelf-motivated individual with strong ability to follow instructions and work alone, as well as work effectively within a teamPossession of valid driver's license with good driving record and reliable transportationAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningStrong ability to write and read in English languageAbility to lift items that weigh up to 100lbs safelyStrong ability to operate under severe temperature conditions for long periods of timeMust be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sites

    WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EXPECTATIONS

    Some job duties are performed within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.When the employee is at a work site, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and outdoor weather conditions. The noise in the work environment is often loud.Requires a consistent physical presence at the branch office to oversee shared services functions and employees, normally achieved by working standard business hours. Certain positions will require flexibility of working hours to meet the demands of the job and the direction of the manager.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Prolonged periods of standing and walking.Requires lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or pulling.Frequently reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at times.
