Summary
The Logistics Associate is responsible for assisting with the daily scheduling of pickups/deliveries and works closely with the Logistics Operations Manager and Logistics Assistant Manager to ensure a strong level of customer/donor service is maintained. He/she will also be involved in helping to maintain standards within the Warehouse to include a neat, organized, and clean environment at all times. He/she will also assist with other projects assigned and be heavily involved in the Warehouse Sale prep and recovery each month. He/she will assist with maintaining the proper warehouse inventory levels and standards. On occasion, load and unload donations from donor vehicles, residences or businesses to truck and vice versa. Serves as a Four Seasons ambassador throughout the service areas.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with the daily scheduling of pickups/deliveries
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Four Seasons values and commitment to co-workers
Provides excellent customer service and maintains a positive attitude
Understands and implements Home Store policies and procedures
Provides customer service by operating Point of Sale system, bagging merchandise, and being available to assist customers by answering questions on the sales floor
Helps provide a welcoming clean environment which reflects the Four Seasons brand by vacuuming, dusting and cleaning furniture, shelves, merchandise and other items on the sales floor
Work to build relationships in our service area communities to promote all Home Store locations to increase donations and sales
Work to achieve performance goals, pursue progress toward individual development plan (IDP) and demonstrate Four Seasons values and competencies
Represent the values of Four Seasons in the community as an ambassador when picking up donated items and delivering sold items by:
Respecting the customer/donor and providing excellent, courteous, and gracious customer service
Act in a positive and professional manner when providing service to the community as an employee of Four Seasons utilizing the Four Seasons values
Handle donated and delivered items with respect, care, and safety
Pack or wrap donations to protect them from damage during transportation, storage and/or shipping
Adhere to company moving policies and procedures to pack, unpack, load and unload all goods
Provide tax receipts for donated items
Respect donor’s property and wishes

Assist with parking lot and Foundation events as well as Home Store projects as needed
