Our Laundry Valet Attendant sorts, processes and finishes guest clothing and employee uniforms to exacting standards and retrieves and delivers clothing from guests for processing. This position reports to the Director of Housekeeping. U.S. work authorization is required for this position. Key Elements of the Job Answers telephone calls from guests requiring cleaning or pressing services. Logs the request and goes to Guest Room to pick up the clothing that needs service. Ascertains time completed goods are required. Counts the items and gives guest a completed receipt. Marks guest clothing for identification. Sorts guest items for appropriate action (washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair) and then processes the clothing in the correct equipment, using the appropriate temperature and chemicals. Once processed, folds or hangs the clothing as desired. Delivers clothing to guest at time desired.
