Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Field Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects throughout NW Houston and the Greater Houston area. Our projects typically begin with raw land and progress through site work, foundation, vertical construction, and final completion.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on field leader who understands how to construct a commercial building from the ground up. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and the capacity to manage subcontractors, schedules, and jobsite operations while working closely with the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all
jobsite activities and subcontractorsManage projects from
raw land through completed constructionImplement and maintain the
project scheduleRead and interpret
architectural, structural, and mechanical drawingsEnsure work is completed according to
plans, specifications, and safety standardsCoordinate with
clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project managementProvide
daily reports, progress photos, and jobsite updatesMaintain
quality control throughout the projectSolicit and coordinate
trade estimates during constructionManage
materials, subcontractors, equipment, and manpowerEnsure all trades onsite are operating
safely and efficientlyPerform
quantity takeoffs and general construction planningBe present onsite during all active construction activitiesAssist in managing
self-performed work and manpower solutionsTravel to job sites within the
NW Houston and Greater Houston area, with occasional out-of-town work
Qualifications
Experience in
commercial construction from ground-upStrong ability to
read blueprints and construction drawingsExperience using
lasers, dirt machines, and site layout equipmentProven
leadership and team supervision skillsStrong
organizational and communication skillsWorking knowledge of
construction contracts and processesAbility to manage multiple trades and jobsite logisticsExperience coordinating with
project managers and clients in the fieldAbility to physically work in the field and assist with hands-on construction when needed
Work Requirements
Ability to
physically work on construction sitesWillingness to
work overtime and some weekendsSome out-of-town travel may be requiredMust be
reliable and punctual, arriving onsite before work begins and remaining until crews complete their work

Monday – Friday:
7:00 AM – 6:00 PMSaturday:
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
