Position Summary
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing outstanding guest service and ensuring a positive guest experience from check-in to check-out. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in maintaining smooth front desk operations while promoting a welcoming and professional hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests and provide efficient check-in and check-out servicesAnswer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries in a professional mannerProcess reservations, cancellations, room assignments, and payment transactionsProvide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractionsResolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and courteouslyMaintain accurate guest records and update reservation systemsCoordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfactionHandle cash, credit card transactions, and daily balancing proceduresPromote hotel services, upgrades, and special offers when appropriateMaintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk areaFollow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standardsQualifications
High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious customer service or hospitality experience requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer and data entry skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentProfessional appearance and positive attitudeStrong problem-solving and organizational abilitiesFlexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical Requirements
