Sales Executive – Flooring Distribution (Dallas–Fort Worth)
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex
Seniority Level: Associate
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $55,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience and performance

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective retailers and dealersProvide in-store product training and merchandising support to help partners sell more effectivelyManage flooring displays, samples, and point-of-sale materials at retail locationsAdvise retailers on pricing, promotions, and marketing strategies to increase salesPrepare quotes, explain terms, and process orders accurately and promptlyEstimate delivery timelines and coordinate with logistics teams as neededAnalyze sales activity to identify trends, opportunities, and follow-up needsLeverage marketing assets like brochures, samples, and catalogs to expand reachKeep up with market trends and competitor activity to better position Founders Mills offeringsResolve delivery issues, product questions, or customer service concernsRepresent Founders Mills at local and regional trade shows and industry eventsTravel locally up to 90% of the time, with occasional overnight tripsPerform other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Valid driver’s license requiredSales experience is preferred; flooring or building materials industry knowledge is a plusStrong math skills for calculating square footage, pricing, and commissionsProficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plusStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamBilingual in Spanish is a plus

Regularly setting up flooring displays and merchandising materials in retail environmentsMust be comfortable working in varied conditions, including warehouses, delivery areas, and retail storesFrequent use of computer, phone, and handheld tools in both office and field environments
