Under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides one-on-one behavioral services, collects data, and helps teach communication, social, and daily living skills. The role requires strong communication, patience, and a commitment to supporting individuals in achieving their goals in the home, clinic, community, and school settings.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work 1:1 with patients in the home, school, clinic, and community settingsConsistently implement treatment plans with fidelity and prepare program materialsCollect and maintain accurate data and clinical notesReview and implement consultation/supervision note recommendationsParticipate in ongoing training, evaluations, and meetings, as requiredCommunicate effectively with the BCBA regarding learner's progressCommunicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families, as neededTrack supervision hours and annually renew the RBT certification as mandated by the BACBWork ethically and with integrity while following the BACB Ethical CodeUnderstand and adhere to HIPAA policiesAdhere to time and attendance policiesAdhere to all of our policies and proceduresQualification
