    Job DescriptionJob Description Transforming HCM Strategies to Solutions:FosterThomas is a leading Human Capital Management consulting firm headquartered in Annapolis, MD, serving clients globally. We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll and Operations Analyst to support our clients with payroll processing and provide operational support to our internal team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic, client-focused environment. This role requires 4 days a week in the Annapolis office. Duties and Responsibilities:Payroll Processing Support:As part of a team, work closely with clients to ensure timely, accurate payroll processing and reporting. Responsibilities can include:Compile payroll data from timekeeping solutions, including garnishments, vacation time, taxes, and insurancePerform manual adjustments and corrections as neededPrepare and process payroll for client personnel, including auditing timesheets for accuracyCompile and submit payroll deductions and related check requestsEnsure accuracy via payroll reconciliationPrepare payroll-related journal entries for period-end closeComplete weekly/monthly payroll reports and ensure compliance with all reporting requirementsDemonstrate strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical skills to resolve payroll issuesEnsure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements throughout all payroll processes. This also includes following and abiding by Payroll Best Practices. Client and Team Support:Communicate professionally, effectively, and courteously with clients and team membersIdentify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracySupport the payroll team with the development of Statements of Work (SOWs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Excel reports, presentations, and other deliverablesProvide backup support for corporate office operations as neededAssist the Program Manager of Payroll Operations with additional tasks and initiativesQualifications: A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience with ADP payroll solutions, or a combination thereof.Business experience in a fast-paced, multi-client environment is essentialProven ability to adapt to new clients and maintain a consultative, solution-oriented approachExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelCompensation and BenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) plan with employer match.Paid time off and holidays.The salary is $60,000 to $65,000 and is based on qualifications and experience.
