    Seafood Department Cutting Position As a member of the Seafood department, this cutting position can perform most functions in the seafood production room/cooler, including skilled knife tasks. Primary tasks include pulling raw materials from the cooler and converting raw materials into finished goods at the cutting station. Other tasks include assisting at all outbound shipping stations, performing basic computer tasks/running reports, and general cleanup of the room/cooler areas. Responsibilities Demonstrate and model behavior consistent with the department's core values and assist in maintaining an environment most conducive to the production team's success. Perform ongoing quality checks to ensure high-quality and accurate customer orders. Accurately interpret cutting slips to skillfully prepare finished goods at the cutting station. Prepare raw materials for the cutting station (scaling/pinboning/gutting). Ability to operate the outbound reboxing, shellfish, and scaling stations. Ability to run and print basic Canopy reports on the computer. Ability to operate a strapping machine. Positively communicate with all co-workers within the department. Execute departmental initiatives as directed by Management. Follow Company food safety/HACCP and cleanliness standards. Maintain general work areas, seafood office, kitchen, breakroom, and locker room. Assist with other special assignments as assigned. Perform all of the above duties in a timely, courteous manner with respect for all company personnel and property. Report any concerns immediately. Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements 1 plus years of foodservice production experience. Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)- Bilingual strongly desired. Basic understanding and ability to use MS Office Suite. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and supervising instructions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, when needed. 2 shifts available. Ability to work a third-shift schedule from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, commencing on Sunday. The schedule will include a rotating weekday off, with Saturday designated as a day of rest. The first shift operates from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of a rotating Saturday schedule, during the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Regarding physical and mental demands: Stooping: Bending the body downward and forward by bending the spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities. Kneeling: Bending legs at the knee to come to a rest on the knee or knees. Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending the leg and spine. Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward, or outward. Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion. Lifting: Raising objects from a lower position to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles. Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palms. Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication. Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. The worker must have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment. The worker must have visual acuity to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work.     Delivery Driver Opportunity The Delivery Driver will deliver and unload various company products within our Indianapolis market, including, but not limited to, seafood, beef, poultry, and gourmet products. The employee will act as key point of contact with the customer, and in so doing will provide the highest levels of customer service. The incumbent will ensure that high safety standards are always maintained while operating Fortune Fish and Gourmet's vehicle. Moreover, the utmost care will be applied in handling the company's perishable products in accordance with HACCP. Responsibilities Perform all pre-trip responsibilities, including checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries. Perform necessary vehicle safety inspections for the vehicle. Drive and deliver customer orders according to a predetermined route. Ensure the vehicle is properly secured during drop-offs. Load and unload products from the vehicle using a dolly or other appropriate devices safely. Verify delivery of items with the customer and obtain proper signatures confirming receipt of the product. Contact management to discuss issues or concerns as they arise throughout the workday. Perform all post-delivery actions, including unloading damaged product, customer returns, and completing any necessary documents. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulations during the operation of the truck and handling of the product. Develop and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and goodwill by providing professional assistance and by demonstrating an interest in the customer's needs. Report any complaints to the supervisor. Collect money from customers and properly record transactions on company documentation, including invoices. Ensure that payment (cash, checks, etc.) are properly secured. Ensure that safety training is current as per company policy. Supports the Fleet Manager by ensuring that vehicles are maintained according to schedule and records are current and correct. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Requirements: Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience One to two years of commercial driving experience is a plus. Transportation of temperature-controlled product experience preferred. Customer Service Friendly, outgoing, and courteous customer service demeanor. Work ethic A sense of urgency in meeting critical and time-sensitive deadlines with the ability to work with limited supervision. Licensing - Must have a valid standard Class D license or local state equivalent. Environmental Available to work long shifts and Saturdays. Language Basic English speaking proficiency.
