Advanced Manufacturing IT Vision Systems Product Line is responsible several applications used by Plant manufacturing teams. One of the applications that the product line supports is Mobile AI Vision System (MAIVS) which is a (Commercial off the Shelf) COTS application deployed on Manufacturing Plant Floor in several Ford Plant facilities. MAIVS is a rapid response system that is quickly deployable to plant floor where quality improvements are needed. The system uses computer vision and machine learning for real-time defect identification to alert operators of defects. There are also opportunities to explore new vision systems for potential deployment. We are a Product Driven Team and work with several teams/entities to provide solution to the plants. What you'll do... Become knowledgeable in Plant/MFG Quality process, tools methods. Implement and support the integration of applications within Manufacturing facilities. Work with GDIA and other enablement teams to intimate and mature quality improvement metrics. Administer OpenShift environment to manage application infrastructure.
