JOB LOCATION: JERSEY CITY, NJ (FT In Office)
We are a third generation, family-owned, specialty food distributor servicing the food industry for over 70 years. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated candidate who is interested in food distribution to join our team! This individual will be responsible for taking customer phone and email orders, handling any customer concerns and delivery issues, performing order entry and providing inside sales support. This is a great opportunity to learn about the food business as you grow within the position!

Provide information about our products and servicesTroubleshoot and resolve product issues, interacting with logistics when necessaryOffer suggestions for substitutions, up-sell productsInteract with company's sales staff, handling issues with customers' ordersUpdate customer records based on interactionsStay up to date with our constantly evolving products and servicesParticipate in occasional product taste testingQualifications:
Previous food service office experience in customer service, inside sales support and/or order entry strongly preferredAccurate data entry skillsAbility to build rapport and develop relationships with our customersAbility to prioritize and multitaskPositive and professional demeanorExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid math and computer skillsAble to maintain regular and reliable attendanceEducation:
High school diploma strongly preferred, college degree a plusCompensation:

This is a full-time, in office position, Monday through Friday with OT.
