    Position Summary

    The Senior Account Manager - Technical Automation Sales is responsible for driving profitable growth within assigned target accounts across the Carolinas and Southeast region. This role blends named-account management with strategic territory development, focusing on hunting new opportunities, expanding existing relationships, and delivering high-value automation solutions and services for All AutomaTech products.

    The ideal candidate brings deep industrial automation and OT sales expertise, a strong regional network, and a proven ability to manage complex, consultative sales cycles while maintaining disciplined forecasting and pipeline management.

    KPI's
    Maintain Salesforce CRM pipeline and provide accurate forecasting on a consistent monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targetsExpected to drive greater than $750k in gross profit after 3 years in role.
    Key Responsibilities
    Own and grow profitable sales within assigned target accounts, with a goal of ≥30% project profitability (net of overhead).Actively prospect/hunt and develop new opportunities within named accounts and assigned territory.Maintain an accurate 12-month forecast and robust sales pipeline in Salesforce.Utilize AutomaTech's end-to-end sales process, from opportunity identification through close.Develop and demonstrate domain expertise with AutomaTech's entire product and solutions portfolio; for example, provide technical updates to A&B critical accounts on an annual basis.Partner with Inside Sales to develop quotations and deliver proposals to prospective and existing customers.Up-sell and cross-sell AutomaTech products and services.Work with the Vice President and General Manager to develop and refine a Target Account List by product family and solution.Serve as the customer advocate, achieving approximately 50% customer face time.Engage with strategic technology partners on joint account planning initiatives, including (but not limited to): GEV, Moxa, Stratus, AMDT/Octoplant, SmartSights, Kepware, Standard Bot, and others.In conjunction with the EVP of Sales and Marketing, develop and execute sales plans for new and existing customers.Assist in the development of annual sales targets and rolling forecasts (strategic and tactical).Participate in marketing activities such as trade shows, seminars, and content development (web materials, white papers).Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across operations, manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing IT.
    Qualifications & Experience

    As a Warehouse & Driver Associate, you will be responsible for driving and transporting materials in a raw or packaged form, to and from specified destinations such as plants, construction sites, offices, or within industrial yards by performing the following duties. You will also assist the warehouse in receiving, stocking, filling orders, and general maintenance and cleaning in the warehouse.

    Responsibilities
    On a daily basis, coordinating with the Delivery Coordinator, the deliveries of product or material to the proper destination by identifying the destination, selecting the route, and driving the vehicle.Properly loads product and material on company delivery trucks to prevent damage during shipment, double-checking against shipping papers along with another warehouse employee for accuracy.Delivers and unloads product on customer's premises, collects payment if COD, and obtains a signature for receipt of goods delivered.Daily inspect the condition of the delivery truck, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Complete the Vehicle Maintenance Request form and turn into Delivery Coordinator as required.Keep an updated truck driver log, all necessary paperwork, physicals when requested, and any other legal requirements to drive.Maintain safe driving practices at all times, noting road conditions and product load, complying with company policies and procedures, and highway rules and regulations.Receives product by unloading vehicles, accepting deliveries, and unpacking containers. Conveys product from receiving to designated rack, shelves, or storage bin according to predetermined sequence.Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, shelves, or conveys orders to the shipping department.Opens crates, pallets, and other containers upon receiving for inspection of goods received, noting any discrepancies or damaged product to the Warehouse Supervisor.Help with the general upkeep of the warehouse area, such as sweeping of floors, breaking down pallets, organizing of inventory shelves, etc. Maintain the safety of the building, work area, and other employees by performing all duties within the established safety guidelines.Make sure that the walkways and loading docks are clear of ice and snow by shoveling, applying salt, or sand, for the safety of customers, employees, and company assets.Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.Inform the customer of the product available for their application via phone call or face-to-face.

    Summary/Objective

    The Technical Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our valued clients. In addition, you will recommend technical solutions to a varied industrial customer base, support outside sales, and generate complex quotes.
