Duties
Safely operate cranes, boom trucks to lift, move, and position materials on construction sites or industrial locationsConduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and equipment to ensure optimal safety and functionalityCoordinate with team members to plan lifting sequences and ensure smooth workflowMaintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance logsAssist with shipping & receiving tasks by loading and unloading materials efficientlyFollow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries during operations
Requirements
Valid certification as a Crane Operator from an accredited program or authorityProven experience operating cranes OR boom trucksMechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenanceStrong understanding of rigging techniques and materials handling proceduresValid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment between sitesConstruction site experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes and warehouse operationsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standardsExcellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and site managers
