We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various settings, including residential homes, hotels, and commercial buildings. Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas
- Change linens and make beds
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals for different surfaces
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Adhere to housekeeping management instructions and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for different surfaces
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning and floor care procedures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary
- Hours: 8a-4p with rotating weekends
