    Job Summary



    Summary: Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.Uses established ticket collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from area worked during service periods.Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.Attends in-service and safety meetings.Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.Performs other duties as assigned.Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.

    Job Summary



    Summary: Cuts delicatessen meats, vegetables and cheeses with slicing machine, knives or other cutters. Prepares and serves sandwiches, salads and other cold food items.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from Chef. Prepares sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Stocks and replenishes deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines. Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstation, stove and refrigerator. Stores food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating and rotation procedures. Cleans, sanitizes and maintains counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units and floors in the preparation and serving areas. Places meat, cheese or vegetables on cutting board and cuts slices to designated thickness. Positions and clamps meat or cheese on carriage of slicing machine. Adjusts knob to set machine for desired thickness. Presses button to start motor that moves carriage past rotary blade that slices meats and cheeses. Interacts with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures. Maintains clean, safe work environment to comply with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Job Summary

    Working as a Training Coordinator, you will oversee, enhance, and track training programs for associates at all levels. You will be responsible for implementing, evaluating, and assisting in the development of training initiatives that align with our company’s goals and elevate service standards. 

     

    This onsite position is based at George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility in their work schedule, which will be determined by the specific training needs and requirements.

     

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Training Program Implementation: Implement comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing associates, focusing on customer service, operational procedures, technology, and compliance standards. Assist in development as needed.Collateral Maintenance: Regularly review and provide recommendations for updates to existing training collateralNeeds Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to identify training needs and gaps in skills among staff members, utilizing feedback and performance metrics. Facilitation and Delivery: Lead training sessions and workshops, ensuring engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles. Mentorship: Provide ongoing support and mentorship to employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Evaluation and Feedback: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance reviews, making adjustments as necessary. Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to ensure alignment of training programs with operational goals and guest expectations. Project Management: Manage scheduling and keep up with participant progress for all training initiatives.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness for reporting and compliance purposes. Industry trends: Stay updated on hospitality industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance training content and methods.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree preferred3+ years of experience in hospitality training or a similar roleAirport lounge experience a plusStrong knowledge of operations and service standardsExcellent communication, presentation, facilitation, training, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeOutstanding organizational and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and high workload—must be able to adapt to frequent changeProven ability to deliver effective training programsFamiliarity with learning management systems (LMS) and training softwareCertification in training or instructional design is a plusBi-Lingual a plus: SpanishWork schedule will be determined by training needs and requirements

Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area during and after events; breaks down the setup and leaves the area neat and clean; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations. Logs and maintains food temperatures. Arranges tables and decorations. Arranges buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards. Serve food and beverages to guests. Thoroughly cleans location after event is completed. Returns food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility. Distributes and collects customer comment cards for catered functions. Stocks, cleans and maintains catering facility and equipment. Ensures guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times. Maintains in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand. Maintains clean and safe work environment. Follows safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times. Performs other duties as assigned.



    Qualifications: Valid driver's license may be required; must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.
