Job Summary

Job Summary
In this role you will ensure successful delivery of all services for meetings and conferences by coordinating with clients, vendors and coworkers. In addition, you are responsible for closing the reception desk in the afternoon / evening.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all reservations and bookings in the Catalyst Training CenterEnsure all rooms are set up according to the BEO report, providing clear quality checksEngage with meeting hosts and instructors to ensure all needs have been metInspect and maintain appearance and functionality of conference roomsCommunicate available services, policies, and fees to the client (if applicable)Coordinate services for meetings which have been booked; this includes printing course materials, printing and providing sign-in sheets, creating visitor access for attendees, and gathering all supplies based on course needsParticipate in planning meetings with other teams, review the details of events which he or she has been working on, answer questions from staff members, and discuss relevant logistical mattersLearn and understand campus highlights Close the reception desk in the Catalyst Training Center; assist in ride-share requests for employees or visitors, wayfinding, and other tasks as needed.Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma /GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, communications or another related field is preferred Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in hospitality industryExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrates commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.Proficient skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and OutlookAbility to multi-task; managing multiple projects and work assignmentsAbility to handle last-minute changes in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of eventsTact in working with professional peers from other departments and all associates
