    Position Overview

    We are seeking a mechanically inclined Assembler to join our Fabrication team. This role is responsible for assembling skid packaged units and related equipment to ensure proper function, testing, and compliance with customer specifications. The Assembler will work under the direction of the Assembly Lead and collaborate closely with the fabrication team to deliver high-quality, fully operational systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    Assemble and disassemble packaged skid units in preparation for painting and final buildTag and identify components for proper tracking and placementProtect piping and equipment from contamination during assemblyPrepare materials for painting (in-house or vendor-supported)Set up and safely perform hydrostatic testing of piping and tubing systemsVerify all test documentation prior to testingCoordinate testing schedules with leadership and client representativesProperly install and secure all test equipment to ensure safe operationConduct leak testing on fabricated tanks and systemsRead and interpret drawings, blueprints, and P&IDsAssemble systems accurately under guidance from lead personnelIdentify and resolve issues with bolts, gaskets, mounting hardware, and componentsAssist with installation and alignment of pump and motor systemsIncludes c-face, direct-coupled, and belt-driven systemsPerform laser alignment on API pump systemsPerform full functional pump and system testing from start to finishInstall proper test components and configure systems safelyIdentify and adapt to special testing requirementsCharge pressurized systems when required (e.g., dampeners)Document test results and report deficienciesReview P&IDs for proper tagging and system understandingComplete punch list items and ensure all work meets quality standardsMaintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environmentCommunicate daily task updates, material needs, and production needs with supervisionMaintain a constant focus on safety and awareness of surroundingsPerform additional duties as assigned

    Requirements/Skills

    • Experience preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and proposals

    • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable safety regulations
