The ER is a 7-bed unit that provides direct patient care to critically ill adult patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.Why join us

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
ACLS, BCLS, PALS; NIHSS within 90 days of hireEducation: Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Licenses: Must have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license.

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.
Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary.
Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
Assists with patient discharge planning.
Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree Required; Graduate of a Program in Discipline
Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of KY
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
