OBJECTIVE: Responsible for delivering orders to customers. Consistently adhere to and model all safety requirements.
Essential Functions
A) Deliver orders to customers as orders are scheduled
B) Perform daily vehicle check and submit form to customer service. Insure delivery vehicles are properly maintained and safe to operate at all times
C) Build delivery orders for next day’s route
D) Accurately track product that is delivered
E) Provide customer sign-off of material and submit to customer service
F) Replenish shelves/racking with material
G) Work with customer service to track special order items. Monitor open orders, tracking inbound product and preparing for deliveries
H) Keep warehouse clean and organized and assist in warehouse as assigned
I) Properly complete required paperwork
J) Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 40 pounds. Must be able to operate a vehicle. Must be able to stand and/or sit for minimum 8 hours per day.
K) Must be able to report to work-site, on time, daily
L) At all times safely perform all duties, including but not limited to operating vehicles
Other Duties
A) Maintain registration and insurance documents for delivery vehicles
B) Participate in month-end inventory reconciliation
C) Assist with projects, including but not limited to: general maintenance and safety
D) Serve as back up driver
E) At all times behave in a courteous and professional manner
Reporting Relationship
A) Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor
B) Works directly with the warehouse personnel and customer service
Minimum Qualifications
A) Work experience as a delivery driver
B) Experience operating a forklift
C) Basic math, reading and writing skills
D) Valid Hawaii drivers’ license for past three (3) years
E) Clean driving record and eligible to be covered by Fleenor auto insurer
F) Experience operating a delivery vehicle
G) High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
A) Working knowledge of packaging products, computer literate
B) Work experience as delivery driver on Oahu with great knowledge of Oahu roads
Physical Environment/Working Conditions
This position is in a warehouse, public roads and customer locations. Temperature fluctuations occur throughout the year and employees must be cautious around equipment and forklifts.
