Our client is a respected leader in its industry and seeking to add to its staff in the office/accounting department. The position would be specifically for POS & Inventory administration, while also providing general administrative support across the company. Key responsibilities would include:
POS & Inventory Administration
• Maintain and manage the SIMPOS (our inventory/point of sale database) system for retail and wholesale divisions
• Receive and enter all materials into the inventory database
• Collaborate with buyers to create purchase orders for preorders
• Update pricing, including volume pricing, within the system
• Create and maintain vendor and customer records
• Process intercompany material transfers
• Ensure daily “Sim Merge” between our two databases is completed
• Maintain and update the company “dig list” and enter plant inventory into SIMPOS
• Provide POS support and assist with customer transactions as needed
Office Administration
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Maintain office supply inventory
• Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks (AR/AP, petty cash tracking, etc.)
• Handle occasional trips to the bank and post office
• Provide general administrative support, including:
• Preparing proposals
• Drafting correspondence
• Maintaining physical and digital files
