We are seeking a Full Time - Pharmacy Technician to be a member of our team. You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist. Seeking a motivated and experienced retail pharmacy technician for an independent pharmacy located in Orange County next to Fashion Island who is able to multi-task and adapt well in the pharmacy environment. Must also be willing to learn compounding of medications. Monthly bonus incentives available for qualified technicians.
Responsibilities:
Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patientsMeasure dosage of medications, according to prescription ordersProcess prescriptions using computer softwareLabel and record dosage informationMonitor storage and inventory of medications and suppliesCompoundingMerchandising productsCheck In & Check-Out of prescriptionsQualifications:
Minimum 2 years work experience in a pharmacyStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail & organizational skillsAbility to multitask, and know how to prioritize in a constantly changing environmentCommunicates clearly and effectivelyExcellent customer service skills & must work well with othersLicensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the California State Board of PharmacyCompounding experience a PLUS but will trainFull-Time opening. Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Occasional Saturdays.
