    What You’ll Do

    Lead bridge design tasks, including load rating, structural analysis, foundation design, inspection support, transportation structures, and multidisciplinary civil/structural project coordination.Develop design plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, budgets, documentation, and technical deliverables aligned with scope, schedule, quality, and project requirements.Support project planning meetings, client coordination, regulatory approvals, presentations, RFIs, construction-phase services, site visits, and technical issue resolution.Review plans and bridge deliverables for quality, accuracy, constructability, code compliance, state and local standards, safety requirements, and client expectations.Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, inspectors, subconsultants, clients, DOTs, approving agencies, and junior staff while mentoring technical development and sharing best practices.Requirements:

    What We’re Looking For

    B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.10+ years of transportation experience with a strong background in structures, bridge design, inspection, load rating, and civil/structural project delivery.Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it.Proficiency in MicroStation, STAAD, and PENNDOT bridge design software required; familiarity with NYSDOT or PennDOT design standards preferred.Professional ownership, client service, critical thinking, problem-solving, sound judgment, organization, planning, attention to detail, collaboration, integrity, respect, active listening, and continuous-improvement mindset.
