First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in San Bernardino, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Unit: Cath Lab RN of suites/labs: 5 suites cases per day on average: Varies greatly Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, ACLS Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Structural, PCI, EVARs, peripheral angio, pacemakers, stents, axillaries, coronaries, etc Job Duties: Scrubbing cases, maintaining sterile field, room turnover, transport, documentation Experience or 'Must have' skills: "Must have at least 2 years of cath lab experience. Must have PCI experience. Pacemaker experience is highly preferred. RNs must be able to scrub. Prefer experience with procedural sedation." EMR/Equipment : Cerner & Merge Cardiologist hours/on call: 7a-7p, on call after hours Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: During regular hours always someone available. There is always a resource available. Cath Lab Techs: Do not currently staff cath lab techs - currenlty only staff RNs who can scrub (is open to staffing cath lab techs) Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): "8s & 12s with 7a start time. Currently have high need for Mondays & Fridays." Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1 weeknight of call every week - self-sign up, starts when the department closes for the day Weekend/Call Requirements: Manager schedules weekend call in rotation for all staff. 1 full weekend every 5 weeks Holiday/Call Requirements: Covered by call - self-sign up, will be assigned if no one signs up What is call response time? 30mins Floating Requirements: Could potentially float to IR.
