Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test low-voltage security cabling including coax, Cat5e/Cat6, and fiber optic linesRun and route cables through walls, ceilings, conduit, and other structures in residential and commercial settingsMount and connect security cameras, access control panels, alarm systems, and related hardwareRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system schematicsTroubleshoot and repair existing security cable infrastructure and system connectionsCoordinate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely job completionMaintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
1+ years of experience in low-voltage cabling, security systems, or structured wiring installationFamiliarity with CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarm systemsProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and cable testing equipmentAbility to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying environmental conditionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to pass a background check as required for security industry work
