Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Restoration Technician / Handy Man with Construction Experience to join our team. This is an impactful role, as you will be assisting customers who have experienced fire or water damage in returning their homes or businesses to pre loss condition. You will perform cleaning, drying, and demolition work as well as other restoration activities. The ideal candidate understands the importance of this position and cares deeply about the quality of their work and the impact it will have on customers.
Responsibilities:
Follow work orders and crew chief instructionsPerform cleaning, drying, demolition, and other restorative workMaintain appropriate inventory levels in work vehicle and stock supplies for each projectKeep workspace and vehicle clean and organizedPrepare job site for restoration activitiesWork closely with crew chief and other Restoration TechniciansInspect, operate, equipmentInteract with customers in a professional and friendly mannerQualifications:
knowledge of construction and, building productsCertification from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) is preferredPrevious experience as a Restoration Technician or in a similar role is preferredValid drivers licenseAbility to meet the physical demands of the job, including climbing ladders.Ability to travel, both locally and out of statePrevious experience as a handymanKnowledge of job site safety rulesAbility to lift 40+ lbs
