    Job Description:

    The basic function of the Sprinkler Helper will be to work with and learn from the Sprinkler Fitter on the installation and service of fire suppression and maintenance of safety systems. Our ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and grow, be customer and safety focused, and be able to work diligently as part of a team.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist Fitter on install and service jobs, traveling to job sites as required by the specific assignment. Interact with customers on a daily basis Follow Safety rules and requirements Other duties may be required.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Minimum 0-1 year of experience. Excellent administrative, organizational and computer skills. Good mechanical aptitude. Ability to adapt to changing needs and provide excellent customer service. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written Ability to transport equipment and tools weighing up to 40 lbs. Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and no DUI convictions

    Physical Requirements:

    Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs. Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. Read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities Ability to work flexible hours.

    Job Description:

    The basic functions of our Sprinkler Fitter will be installation, maintenance, and repair of automatic sprinkler systems. This includes working with pipes, fittings, valves, and other components to ensure that the system is installed properly and functions correctly. Our ideal candidate will be customer focused and able to work diligently whether part of a team or individually.

    **NOTE ** This role in particular is seeking in particular Westerly located MA candidates from the wider Springfield area; however as work increases, candidates will be considered as far South at Hartford CT, with appropriate MA licenses

    Responsibilities:

    Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of sprinkler systems. Measuring and cutting pipes to the required length, and installing them using various fittings and connectorsInstalling valves, alarms, and other components of the sprinkler system.Testing the system for leaks and ensuring that it functions properly.Performing routine maintenance on the system, including replacing worn or damaged components as needed.Troubleshooting and repairing sprinkler systems as needed, and identifying and recommending solutions to complex problems. Communicating with customers and other stakeholders to provide project updates, answer questions, and resolve issues. Ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations, as well as industry best practices.Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including labor and materials costs, and preparing reports as needed. Ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that a safe working environment is maintained at all times. Highly organized, motivated team player.Ability to follow direction and work independently when needed.Other duties and responsibilities when assigned as needed.Able to lift up to 70+ lbs, punctual, and reliable.Have the ability to work safely with a threading machine, battery operated hand tools, and basic hand tools regularly.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Minimum 3 years, independent field experience.Experience with Fire Protection Systems and components.Mechanically inclined.Strong attention to detail.Valid driver’s license.Positive attitude and willingness to obtain progressive certifications within the industry and NFPA applicable permitting and licensing.Prefer intermediate sprinkler layout understanding.Ability to complete accurate and timely maintenance and work records, both written and electronically.A willingness to work hard and learn.The ability to thoroughly complete all required paperwork.Able to deliver excellent customer service.Problem solving skills, independently and as part of a team.Able to complete assignments with minimal supervision.Practices safe work practices per OSHA requirements.Must be a self-starter.

    Job Description
    The basic function of the Sprinkler Foreman will be to coordinate with the Superintendent and Account Manager, ensuring all resources necessary for the successful completion of an assigned project are available and that the installation is of the highest quality and ensuring the customer is properly served. Our ideal candidate will be customer focused with an excellent safety record and be able to diligently lead a successful team.


    Responsibilities

    The duties and responsibilities of the Sprinkler Foreman include, but are not limited to:

    Coordinate with the Superintendent/Account Manager on the most efficient and cost effective means of production possible for assigned and special projects. Assure quality and safety controls/practices that result in a safe work environment and projects that are superior in the quality of installation with zero time loss due to accidents.Responsible for the care and use of all company issued vehicles, equipment and tools protecting the property from deterioration, damage, theft and see that the property is kept clean and properly maintained.Assure weekly timesheets are submitted to the Payroll Department on dates and times requested.Attend assigned pre-construction, coordination and job progress meetings as necessary to ensure complete understanding of our position on the project and to communicate all necessary information to the project team.Coordinate with the Superintendent and the Account Manager making recommendations on the timing between the material delivery and project start is sufficient to satisfy the needs of the project schedule.Attend scheduled in-house meetings/training and contribute recommendations for improvement.Assist in the development and training of field personnel in good installation procedures in order to create and maintain a high degree of professionalism and safety practices.Provide technical consultation and support to company apprentices, technicians, designers and shop employees.Respond to other duties/responsibilities that are assigned by the Labor Supervisor and/or Project Foreperson from time-to-time.

    Job Description

    Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems across multiple projects and service locations. This role provides leadership to field personnel, ensures compliance with applicable codes and safety standards, manages project schedules and budgets, and serves as the primary field liaison between customers, contractors, project managers, and company leadership.

    Responsibilities:

    Plan and coordinate the installation of new systems, including designing system layouts, selecting appropriate equipment, and estimating costs.Schedule and oversee the work of technicians and other staff involved in installation, repair, or maintenance projects.Monitor project progress and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate work activities, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure all sprinkler systems are functioning properly and perform any necessary repairs or replacements.Monitor and manage budgets for sprinkler system projects to ensure that costs are kept within budget and projects are completed on time.Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to field employeesInvestigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and implement corrective actionsReview daily reports, timecards, and project documentationEnforce safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment at all times.Support a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and addressing safety concerns professionally.


    Education and Experience:

    High school diploma or GEDMinimum 5 years of experience in the fire sprinkler industryStrong knowledge of fire protection systems and applicable codesAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications


    Licenses and Certifications:

    NICET (Level II, III, or IV) certification preferred Hold the appropriate local/state license by jurisdiction.Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record


    Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

    Job Description:

    The basic functions of our Sprinkler Technician will be to service and repair wet, dry and pre-action fire suppression systems, and to conduct routine preventative maintenance on fire sprinkler suppression systems, including repair and testing of backflow preventers. Our ideal candidate will be customer focused and able to work diligently whether part of a team or individually.

    Responsibilities:
    Conduct routine preventative maintenance on fire sprinkler suppression systems.Manual labor including lifting, climbing and clean up.Service and repair of wet, dry and pre-action fire suppression systems in strict accordance with applicable codes and standards.Flow testing of fire hydrants.Highly organized, motivated team player.Preferred experience in testing and repairing backflow prevention devices.Interact with customers in a professional manner.Ability to follow direction and work independently when needed.Other duties and responsibilities when assigned as needed.Punctual, reliable.Have the ability to work safely with a threading machine, battery operated hand tools, and basic hand tools regularly.Ability the read blueprints. Clear communication and exemplary customer service a must.Able to diagnose all types of sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and backflow assemblies and know how they operate. This includes working with pipes, fittings, valves, and other components to ensure that the system is installed properly and functions correctly.
