Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced builder/ swing man with their own tools to serve as the Automotive Transmission Technician on our automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining transmission systems within a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your will contribute to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the high standards of our repair facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics passionate about automotive technology and dedicated to continuous learning and excellence.
Pay starts at $25 per hour, with wage based on experience.
Hours are Monday - Friday 8am -4:30PM and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities
Diagnose complex transmission issues using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics, ensuring precise identification of problems.Perform transmission repairs, rebuilds, and replacements on a wide range of vehicles, including both manual and automatic transmissions.Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicle powertrain systems, including engine repair and automotive engine system diagnostics.Utilize automotive wiring diagram interpretation skills to troubleshoot electrical components related to transmission operation.Maintain detailed repair records, complete service reports, and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair procedures and timelines.Assist with related vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignment, heavy lifting, welding, and general mechanical repairs to ensure vehicle safety and performance.Stay updated on automotive engine technology advancements, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), to provide modern solutions for clients.Skills
