ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer Experience: Deepen relationships and treat customers with genuine care by listening to their specific needs, asking questions to gain deeper understanding, and seamlessly guide them to where their financial needs can be met Provide follow up to customer questions and find solutions to address issues Be responsive and timely with correspondence to keep lines of communication open and clear Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customer business confidential Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, always maintaining ethical behavior. Operations: Perform daily office responsibilities, working with the platform team, to maintain the efficient operation of the office. Maintain a balancing record that is in line with policy. Find and correct outages and enlist help as needed. Maintain knowledge of the bank policies and financial center procedures and take responsibility to keep up to date on any changes. Handle consumer and business customer problems with professionalism, directing more complex issues seamlessly to the Lead Customer Service Representative or other leadership as necessary. Demonstrate sound judgment in decision making, abiding to established guidelines and procedures. Referrals: During customer interactions and Customer Outreach identify customer needs and refer customers to Bankers and business partners, as appropriate, for a consultative conversation Build and maintain a working knowledge of the Retail products and services offered Utilize appropriate tools for all referrals sent to personal bankers and business partners for tracking purposes Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: High school diploma/GED. Work involves extensive cash handling. Design and customize coaching sessions to train bankers on investment strategies and product solutions. Conduct solo and joint appointments with bankers and assist them in efficiently identifying potential clients and providing solutions that align with client needs, financial goals and objectives. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all financial products through self-study, periodicals, and appropriate coursework. Ability to delegate tasks and follow-through. Prepare necessary internal reports for sales tracking. Coordinate and communicate with team on daily basis to insure accurate completion of accountabilities. Conduct internal and external seminars to focus on business development and growth. Prioritize client needs and introduce services of other Fifth Third Bank employees, i.e. loans, estate planning, deposits. Serves as a coach and mentor for licensed bank employees. Thoroughly organize, share and prepare licensed bankers with tools and skills needed to be successful. Guide and promote progress toward established goals for team. Recognize and reward achievement of goals. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Prior Brokerage Industry Experience. Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) and appropriate state required insurance licenses (exception: 7 and 63 in Michigan and Ohio) are required. Variable Annuity license is required.
