The Radiologic Technologist will normally work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, except on Federal holidays. Radiology Technologists will not work more than 20 hours a week.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school or program for a Radiological Technologist.Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).Be licensed in the state of New Jersey as a RadiologistA minimum of three (3) years of Radiological Technologist experience.Must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified either by the American Red Cross (ARC)or the American Heart Association (AHA).**Copies of all certifications and resumes must be forwarded with your application.
Attire
The Radiologic Technologist is expected to wear professional clothing while on duty (scrub uniforms are approved). The attire worn shall also be appropriate for the correctional environment in which the BPA employee will be performing. The contractor is prohibited from wearing khaki or green, as these are the colors worn by adults in custody.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine radiologic procedures ordered by the medical staff for the inmate population at the institution. Transmit, retrieve radiographic images and reports electronically, and scan reports into inmates' Bureau Electronic Medical Record (BEMR). Receive training to retrieve radiographic consults from BEMR and schedule them to perform all radiographic procedures. Work with an inmate population from a variety of cultural, racial, religious, and ethnic backgrounds. Evaluate radiographic equipment for calibrations and repairs. Possess knowledge of basic emergency situations that may occur during special radiographic procedures. Possess knowledge of various pathological abnormalities as demonstrated by radiographic imaging. Notify the radiologist or referring Physician of any preliminary abnormalities seen while the patient is undergoing an exam, so that additional views or exams can be ordered if needed. Independently assess and select technical exposure factors and positions necessary to obtain a proper quality diagnostic exam. Receive patients and explain procedures to alleviate undue anxiety. Independently perform all radiographic imaging Coordinate transfer of patient radiologic records to ensure continuity of care. Work with the Clinical Director to ensure monitoring and evaluation activities are completed. Act as liaison between radiologist and medic staff. Receive training and orientation ·and comply with correctional techniques as they pertain to medical services. Develop a working knowledge of the local medical protocols. Wear outer protective clothing and abide by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention universal precautions. Summary of Duties
The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during dental procedures, assist in maintaining accountability and sterilization of instruments, become proficient in the Bureau Electronic Medical Records System [BEMR] (the inmate electronic medical record), conduct him/herself in a professional manner around inmates, and perform any other tasks deemed necessary by the dentist while adhering to the general practice of a dental assistant.
Qualifications
Must possess a High School Certificate of Graduation or GED.Must have a successful completion of a 1-year dental assistant program accredited by the American Dental Association's Commission on Dental Accreditation, or equivalent combinations of experience and education are qualifying.Must hold current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.Must have a minimum of six (6) months of experience providing Dental Assistant services.**Copies of all certifications and resumes must be forwarded with your application.

Duties and Responsibilities
Assists the Dental Officer during restorative, oral surgery, periodontal, prosthodontic, examination, and emergency procedures by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, materials, medications, and equipment; passing instruments; retracting tissues; irrigating the oral cavities; and operating suction equipment.Prepares, escorts, and positions patients for treatment; observes patient responses; provides dismissal instructions, oral health education, and follow-up appointment guidance; performs dental screenings and routine oral prophylaxis as authorized.Maintains complete and accurate electronic and paper dental records, including charting, treatment documentation, periodontal charting, and radiographic records.Performs authorized expanded functions, including placement and removal of temporary fillings, rubber dams, periodontal packs, application of prescribed medications and anti-cariogenic agents, fabrication support for removable prostheses, preliminary impressions, cast pouring, tooth shade selection, and placement/finishing of restorations where permitted.Obtains diagnostic dental radiographs using digital and conventional imaging systems, including periapical, occlusal, panoramic, cephalometric, TMJ, and related views.Positions patients, minimizes radiation exposure, processes images, performs quality assurance, and maintains infection control standards.Cleans, sharpens, sterilizes, and maintains dental instruments, equipment, treatment areas, radiographic systems, and biological waste in accordance with infection control, safety, and established dental clinic policies.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
