    Responsibilities:

    Assisting attorneys with complex commercial litigation mattersCollection, organization of, and management of case evidence and other materials, including electronic databasesReviewing, coding, organizing, and preparing document productionsDrafting pleadings, other court papers, and discovery documents for attorney useCollection and maintenance of key document collections and witness materialsResearch court procedures, materials in related cases, and other investigation materials regarding cases, witnesses, and expertsTrial preparation and supportCommunicating with clients, experts, and other third partiesElectronic court filing (state and federal), preparation of materials for same; andOther duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a commercial and construction litigation paralegal, Colorado preferredConstruction litigation experience is a plus A bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certificatePrevious law firm experience and/or in-house paralegal experienceKnowledge of civil litigation rules and procedures, including those regarding court filingsSuperior organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several projects to completion on a deadlineConscientious, thoughtful, and proactive approach to tasks and workload management, including establishing priorities, working independently, and taking initiative when appropriateProficiency in the standard collection of Microsoft Office applicationsProficiency with collection, production, and management of e-discovery, including substantial experience with litigation support databases (e.g., Relativity, DISCO, Everlaw, etc.); andExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interface with all levels within the firm and externally with clients and other professional advisors, as needed.
