We are seeking a Freight Specialist and Stocker to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for stocking and maintaining freight throughout our store in order to drive company revenue.
Responsibilities:
Salesmanship: recommending products based on our customers' unique situationsAssists customer with taking their purchases to their car as neededStock, rotate, down stock, and price freight. Use FIFO method to stock and rotate merchandise.Technical Skills: Forklift, electric pallet jack, pallet jack, feed dolly; cutting keys, rope, chain, welding cable, etc.Product Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of merchandise. Actively increases knowledge through attending training and reading product information.Follow rotation (FIFO) procedures for different types of merchandiseDepartment Cleanliness: Notifies Pricing Specialist to price. Regularly removes empty pallets, pallet jacks, trash, and ladders before leaving department.Cashiering skills as neededWelcome and identify customer needsAccurately sell items by scanning UPCs and other methods of looking up productsProperly authenticate paper money and accurately count back changeQualifications:
