    General Description:

    MetalCraft, a Marsden Holding Company, is a high-end custom metal fabrication shop with experience designing and crafting custom range hoods, cabinets, countertops, architectural elements, furniture and extras. We are seeking a skilled detailed-oriented Welder/Fabricator Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their welding and fabrication skills while working on unique and challenging projects. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of MIG and TIG welding, blueprint reading, and metal fabrication processes.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    Assist in MIG and TIG welding of various metals, including stainless steel and aluminumRead and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine job specificationsParticipate in layout and fitting of materials prior to welding and fabricationUse a variety of hand tools for grinding, fitting, and finishingOperate machinery including press brake, water jet, sheet roller, and other shop equipmentContribute to high-end custom metal fabrication projects with a focus on precision and qualityCreate and follow cut lists to ensure efficient use of materialsMaintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocolsWork collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to meet deadlinesApply problem-solving skills to identify and resolve fabrication or fitting issues

    Qualifications:

    Basic proficiency with TIG and MIG welding techniquesAbility to read and understand blueprints and technical drawingsFamiliarity with metal layout and measurement techniquesExperience using hand tools and metal fabrication machinery (Press Brake, Water Jet, Rollers) preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workGood communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamWillingness to learn and take direction from experienced fabricatorsPhysical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periodsFor safety reasons, basic English proficiency is requiredA pre-employment drug screen is required

    Commercial HVAC Technician Lead

    General Description:

    Feldkamp Enterprises, a Marsden Holding Company, is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician Lead to join our team. An ideal candidate will have experience with multiple types of units, mini splits, electrical, boilers, and chillers. This role requires a strong knowledge set of commercial HVAC/R and the ability to work independently to effectively troubleshoot in multiple types of settings. The Lead technician will be responsible for the training apprentices.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    HVAC Preventative Maintenance

    Checking in/out with Customers at each routine maintenance visit to update them on any findings or needed repairs;Learn locations of all HVAC equipment and how they relate to each buildingPerform routine maintenance contracts by replacing filters, belts and make necessary adjustments to pulleys and tensionersUnderstand and can train entry level Maintenance crewmembers on:

        o diagnosing and replacing failed parts, fuses, thermostats, motors, bearings and other components as required;

            o managing equipment controls – starts, stops, status changes and conditions on HVAC Systems

    Complete work orders and submit job completion tickets through company software system in a timely manner.

    Problem Solving:

    Troubleshoot technical, electrical and mechanical issues within commercial HVAC systems;Diagnose and record maintenance logs and actions performed during a service call.

    Qualifications:

    Role and Responsibilities:

    The Project Manager is directly responsible for the oversite of any/all projects and jobsites assigned by President, Director of Administration or Head Estimator. This includes, but is not limited to:

    Complete Turnover/Scope Meeting with Estimation Department to review project budgets, production timelines, manpower requirements, General Contractor contacts, provided drawings and specifications, material and equipment requirements, etc., to ensure all details align with the estimate and are accurate for the project. Provide feedback on any discrepancies between initial budgets and materials to ensure all aspects of the job are outlined per the estimate and specifications. Coordinate with Drafting Department on any/all drawing requirements pertaining to each Departmental specification (Sheetmetal, Plumbing, Piping, etc.,).     Project Manager - Pipe Fitting

    Feldkamp Enterprises, Inc, a Marsden Holding Company is a non-union full-service mechanical contractor in Cincinnati, OH specializing commercial pipe fitting. We are currently looking to bring a Project Manager to join our Piping Team.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    The Project Manager is directly responsible for the oversite of any/all projects and jobsites assigned by President, Director of Administration or Head Estimator. This includes, but is not limited to:

    Complete Turnover/Scope Meeting with Estimation Department to review project budgets, production timelines, manpower requirements, General Contractor contacts, provided drawings and specifications, material and equipment requirements, etc., to ensure all details align with the estimate and are accurate for the project. Provide feedback on any discrepancies between initial budgets and materials to ensure all aspects of the job are outlined per the estimate and specifications. Coordinate with Drafting Department on any/all drawing requirements pertaining to each Departmental specification (Sheetmetal, Plumbing, Piping, etc.,). Facilitate assigning appropriate Foreman to each jobsite as required by production and man hours outlined in Turnover Meeting and job specifications. Coordinate with Foreman on the timelines for purchasing of materials, reviewing weekly job costs and productive hours, ensure appropriate communication regarding project timelines, known issues, changes to scope of work or projected timelines, reviewing of other sub-contractors onsite which directly affect jobsite production and deadlines. Attend weekly Operations Meeting to address job costs, % of completion for each project and phase, review and ensure tracking forms are accurate, update on any change orders and T&M Tickets received or completed, anticipated labor to finish the job, discuss any current or potential problem areas (schedule, other trades, damages, changes, coordination, etc.,). Communicate via email, phone or in-person with General Contractors, Sub-Contractors and Vendors as required. Document all aspects of the project and jobsites via ProCore, email and official letterhead as required for any know issues, meeting notes and agendas, scope of work changes (change orders, T&M Tickets, etc.,). Update President and Head Estimator on any known issues with the project which requires additional deadline requests, material or equipment delays or costs, potential for damages, letters that have been sent with updates to General Contractors, lawyer involvement, etc... Provide leadership and any required direction or training to Foreman as needed to develop talent and skills. Other duties as assigned.

    Experience Requirements

    The Project Manager must have the following skills and experience:

    Completed at least 10 years of verifiable field work directly related to the position (Sheetmetal, Plumbing, Piping, etc.,); Must have at least 5 years of verifiable and successful leadership of crews or projects directly related to the position (Sheetmetal, Plumbing, Piping, etc.,); Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner to all levels inside and outside the company; ComputerEase experience is a plus. 

    Education Requirements

    The Project Manager is required to have the following certifications or education, or the ability to obtain the following:

    Journeyman Level experience (5+ years of field work or Journeyman License) Master Plumber License preferred (Plumbing) Weld Certified (Piping) OSHA 30 Certified
