    Job Summary: The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various heavy machinery, including but not limited to backhoes, excavators, and loaders, to support natural gas and underground utility construction projects.     Responsibilities:

    Job Summary: The CDL Driver/Laborer is responsible for the safe operation of commercial vehicles equipped with dump bodies to transport and unload materials essential for utility construction projects, with a focus on natural gas and underground utilities.     Responsibilities:

    Operate and maintain commercial vehicles (CDL Class A or B) with dump bodies to transport and unload materials such as sand, gravel, and construction equipment.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.Load and unload equipment and materials, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent shifting or damage during transit.     Small Tool Mechanic Pay Range-$28.00-32.00

    The Small Tool Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of small tools and equipment used in field operations. This role supports operational uptime by ensuring small engines and specialty equipment are safe, reliable, and ready for deployment. The position is based out of the Syracuse location and reports directly to the Fleet Coordinator for Central New York.

    Key Responsibilities

    Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines and equipment including, but not limited to:Small gas and diesel enginesPlate compactors and jumping jacksPortable generatorsHand-held and jobsite toolsMcElroy fusion equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on assigned equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issuesMaintain accurate service and repair recordsCoordinate with the Fleet Coordinator regarding repair priorities, parts needs, and equipment statusOrder or request parts as needed to complete repairs in a timely mannerEnsure all work complies with company safety standards and manufacturer specificationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaAssist with equipment staging, setup, and readiness for field deployment as needed

    Qualifications
