  Position Summary

  We are seeking an MVP Development Engineer to support backend, frontend, and cloud development for our early-stage platform. This is a contract role ideal for someone who enjoys building from scratch, working in a fast-moving environment, and contributing to a mission-driven healthcare technology product.

  Responsibilities

  Develop backend services and APIsBuild frontend dashboard components (React preferred)Implement compliance logic and scoring modulesIntegrate predictive models into the application layerSet up and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)Write clean, well-documented, testable codeParticipate in weekly sprint reviewsCollaborate using GitHub, Slack, Notion, and JiraFollow strict security and data‐handling protocols

  Qualifications

  Required

  3+ years of software engineering experienceStrong backend development skills (Python, Node, Go, or similar)Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React/Next.js)Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Understanding of API design and microservicesStrong documentation and communication skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesCommitment to security and compliance best practices

  Preferred

  Experience in healthcare, compliance, or regulated industriesKnowledge of HIPAA, CMS, CLIA, or audit‐trail requirementsExperience integrating ML modelsDevOps experience (CI/CD, Docker, IaC)Prior startup or MVP‐stage experience

  Contract Details

  Hours: 10–20 hours/weekCompensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)Location: Merrillville, IN (Hybrid/Remote)Start Date: ImmediateDuration: 3–6 months with potential extension
