The Delivery Driver role is a crucial part of achieving our mission of making healthy food more accessible for everyone. You’ll deliver food to our wholesale retail partners and Smart Fridges. Your job is to own your route by making sure that deliveries are sent to the correct address, during the correct time window, and ensuring our customers are getting the best possible delivery experience. As a Service Technician, you install, maintain, repair, and sometimes move our smart fridges. Smart fridges have two components and you need to be proficient in both: mechanical and technological. Quality and Food Safety (QFS) Technicians will fill an essential role in the monitoring and advancement of our food safety and quality programs. Through daily process checks the QFS Techs will ensure the integrity of all of our products, so that our customers can always enjoy them with full confidence and satisfaction.
Responsibilities as a QFS Technician:
Enforce and follow all workplace safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and other QFS policies and procedures to promote a strong safety and food safety culture within the organizationPerform food safety and quality checks and complete checklists, escalate issues to LeadEnforce and follow all safety rules, GMPs, and other QFS policies and proceduresMonitor CCPs and quality control points, escalate issues to LeadPerform food safety and quality checksConduct ATP and allergen swabs for equipment changeovers and new or repaired equipmentTitrate wash flume chemical concentration and conduct product cook/chill temperature checksSet up metal detectors for new SKUs and monitor paperwork to ensure checks are completedCollect samples of sensitive ingredients and conduct basic sensory testingCollect retains of every SKU to verify labels, seals, expiration dates, and finished product qualityPerform thermometer calibrations and scale verificationsNecessary knowledge, skills, and experience:
At least one (1+) years of work experience in quality and/or food manufacturing Working knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, and Food Safety requirementsAble to work in a 38°ree;F environment for a full shift; standing and walkingStrong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable using a computer, tablet and light lab equipmentAbility to think on your feet and know when to escalate and ask for helpAbility to stay organized and be flexible in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBilingual Spanish preferred but not requiredTakes direction well and asks thoughtful questionsPersonal characteristics:
