    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Arcade / Pinball Machine Maintenance & Operations Technician to help maintain and operate a private collection of pinball machines, arcade cabinets, and console gaming systems.

    The ideal candidate will be passionate about video games, pinball games and console games. Passion for this space is a must!

    You will have 2-3 years of experience maintaining or repairing arcade and/or pinball machines and will take pride in keeping the space clean, organized, and fully functional for guests.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with electro-mechanical systems and gaming hardware in a flexible, low-stress environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and testing of arcade and pinball machinesDiagnose and complete minor to moderate repairs as neededIdentify and escalate complex repair needs to the owner or outside specialistsMaintain console gaming areas, ensuring all equipment is functionalKeep the game space clean, organized, and ready for use (floors, furniture, surfaces)Maintain tools, supplies, and inventory of partsPerform occasional equipment moves/setup and minor facility upkeepPerform daily walkthroughs of the arcade floor to ensure machines, pathways, and common areas are clean, presentable, and safePerform routine visual inspections of machines to catch wear, loose parts, or cosmetic damage earlyDocument stats and maintain an ongoing dossier for each machine in collectionHandle basic troubleshooting and escalate mechanical or electronic issues as neededInstall, align, and secure toppers on pinball machines and arcade cabinets to specComplete interior and exterior cabinet modifications — lighting mods, decal application, speaker upgrades, control panel work, and moreDust, wipe down, and sanitize cabinet exteriors, control panels, monitors, and surrounding surfaces on a regular scheduleMaintain organized storage for parts, tools, supplies, and hardware inventoryManage restocking of supplies and consumablesManage inventory of machines, accepting new machines, cleaning and posting older machines for sale.Communicate space and project status clearly in SLACK

    Required Qualifications

    2-3 years of experience maintaining or repairing arcade and/or pinball machinesBasic knowledge of AV equipment, cable management, or smart home systemsStrong attention to detail and commitment to keeping equipment cleanAbility to work independently and reliably with minimal supervisionPhysically able to lift up to 40 lbs and assist with equipment positioningFlexible availability (weekday only and daytime work windows)

    Preferred / Bonus Skills

    Experience specifically in modding or maintaining Pinball machines in general.Familiarity with pinball software updates and game ROM managementInterest in retro gaming, pinball restoration, or collector spacesExperience with soldering, wiring, or board-level repair

    Maintenance Specialist / Carpenter for Private Estate (Full-Time, Monday through Friday)

     

    A private family is seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and multifaceted tradesperson to support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of a private residence and its surrounding property in the New York City area. This ideal candidate is an expert with strong, hands-on expertise across multiple construction and building systems and the ability to manage routine repairs and custom projects with precision and professionalism.

     

    Responsibilities include general carpentry, including drywall cutting and patching, painting, HVAC systems maintenance, small electrical and wiring projects, plumbing diagnostics and maintenance, and specialty projects and troubleshooting. The position also contributes to general property upkeep and preventative maintenance, supports renovations and developments, and assists with groundskeeping, ensuring the residence and its systems run smoothly at all times.

     

    Qualifications & Skills:

    Demonstrated experience as a skilled tradesperson (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and/or general construction)Expert knowledge of building systems, tools, materials, and safety practicesProactive attitude and hands-on approach to identifying and addressing maintenance needs through effective, creative solutionsDetail-oriented and organized with the ability to juggle multiple competing prioritiesPhysically capable of lifting, climbing, and performing demanding manual laborProfessional demeanor with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and vendorsValid driver’s license and a clean driving recordBilingual (English/Spanish) fluency is a significant plus

     

    The ideal candidate takes pride in working with the Estate Manager and other household staff to deliver high-quality workmanship across a wide range of projects and maintenance responsibilities. This is a year-round, full-time position with a starting salary range of $125,000 to $150,000 per year and a generous benefits package. Compensation will be commensurate with credentials and experience.
